I never felt like I could create the same type of art day-in and day-out. After years of trying to confine myself to one medium, one style, even one ground type, I discovered that I was truly free when I followed the moody muse I was born with. Now I embrace that art is ever-changing. I have several inspirations and choose to let them be seen.

In college, I chose to study Biology and this love for science is seen in my large-scale flora and fauna collage-like paintings. I am quite nerdy about ecology and have worked as a science educator for several years, I think I will always be in the field.

I draw as I travel and sketch people and their loved ones, all because I believe the human experience both past and present deserves to be shown in even the "boring" moments.
